Am sitting quiet

Me, sitting quiet;

Me, sitting alone;

Me, sitting munching:

Me, sitting hunching.

In the end,

Just the end –

Of the end

I have in front of me –

Remains as guide

And final ride:

The elegy of elderly

Not even mine;

Only ignominy

And sad reality

As down with a bump

To this rock I once felt

And held in such high esteem

I do heavily come.

A very small man, now sitting quiet;

A very small man, now on the run.
