Roadjoy

I see

In the car

Next to me

Driving alone

The happiest woman

In the world.

And seeing her

Dance and jump at the wheel

Makes me squeal,

Like rubbered

Tired-

Nesses,

With a fascinated

Roadjoy.

But M doesn’t approve

One little bit:

Not at all

Of my easy happy,

As I do this

De-

Scribe.

And sappy me,

I realise why

I now must leave:

At heart I am a wonderful

Man, and that

Fact cannot be hidden

From anyone’s

Sight.

It ain’t right,

And I shan’t

Continue much more

Mired,

My friends.

Your perspicacity

And gaze

No longer ceasing

To amaze me.

And I was wrong,

So long.

And yous were correct in

Every

Respect-

Ful

Hauling of yawned

Awning:

The shades in so

Many greys

Of the fabricated

Life,

Arriving at its end.
