Forget, forget, forgo

When you want to live again

you have to forget

twice: first, the wife

you promised to look after

forever; second, the

lover you went and

treated with

disdain; and then

only in the

despairing air

of lives to be eternally

for[e]gone can

you restart your life:

alone now out of need

not choice: alone

now out of Hobson,

not wise.

And so I say bye to

anything but

thought: and so I say

no to anything but

ought: and so I say

zero to anything but

life without other,

life without embrace.
